Victoria: South West Coast
"On the Edge of an Ocean Wilderness"
The Scene of the First Victorian Settlement in 1834 at Portland
Portland and Warnnambool are the two largest Victorian coastline cities outside Port Phillip Bay. Portland was in fact the very first Victorian settlement and the port became an important hub when the Western District was settled and started sending its produce to the rest of the new colonies.
